I’m looking to get more active on weekends and would love to hear some recommendations from people in the DC area.

I’m particularly interested in casual pick-up sports such as basketball, soccer, or hockey. I’m not looking for anything overly competitive—just a friendly environment where people can play, meet others, and get some exercise.

For those who regularly participate in local sports, what places or groups would you recommend? Indoor or outdoor options are both welcome, especially locations that are beginner-friendly.

I’d also be interested in hearing about any local leagues, open play sessions, or community sports groups that are worth checking out.
