Cedar Creek Local Park
The Equipment
There are two structures; one for toddlers and one for older children. Both are positioned close together which makes it easy to keep an eye on children. The toddler structure has two tunnels, three slides, and two pieces of climbing equipment. The other structure has the same amount of equipment, but features different slides (wavy, spiral, and tunnel). A swing set has two bucket seats and two regular swings.
The Scene
On a suburban street located next to a high school rests Cedar Creek Park. While we saw no creek, the area is well maintained, has a mulch surface, and is semi-fenced. There is plenty of parking available. The only negative was that one of the trash cans was overflowing which could be due to the adjacent ball field.
Age Recommendation
Toddler to age 8.
