The Equipment
The bright blue and orange equipment has two structures featuring a corkscrew climber, a pair of tunnel slides, tic-tac-toe board, climbing bars, steering wheel and a regular slide. The second structure also has a corkscrew climber and tic-tac-toe board, monkey bars, both a regular and side-by-side slide. The swing set has two different sized swings, which means that one was recently replaced. I didn’t feel any wow factor here with the lack of swings and mediocre equipment.
The Scene
Centerway Park has two play structures in its playground. There is also a baseball field, soccer field, picnic shelter and parking lot. It was relatively quiet as it was turning dusk when we arrived on a Sunday. However, there were a few people enjoying a picnic.
