The Equipment
The first play area has a tot lot for 2-5 year olds. The multicolor structure features a raccoon spring rocker, a double slide, step up climber, animal tic-tac-toe board and a steering wheel.
A swing set contains two baby swings and two regular swings for older children. The other playground, which is good for ages 5 and up, includes three pieces of climbing equipment, a mountain to climb, and only one slide. Look for the hidden animal fossil on this play structure!
The Scene
Set in a bit from the road, Dale Lestina is located in the Mosby Woods development. The park contains two benches and several picnic tables. Park on the street and follow the gravel path that leads to a mulch playground. A creek runs along one side of the perimeter where the main play structure is located. Tall trees provide ample shade.
Bring a picnic or head to the nearby shopping plaza where there is a Subway, Smashburger and Crave frozen yogurt.
Age Recommendation
All ages would enjoy the park. The only caveat is that the equipment is simple.
