Delaware Beaches Jellystone Park Camp-Resort

Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park in Delaware is an easy 2+ hour drive from the DC metro area.  The campground was purchased from a long-time owner and converted to the Jellystone brand.   They offer themed-weekends that will definitely not leave the kids bored.
There are cabins sites, RV and tent only sites available.  Take a look at the layout/map before you book so you can be sure you like where you’re reserving.  The cabins are oddly positioned in that in between each cabin an RV can pull in.  We “camped” in cabins during a June weekend with four different families and we lucked out that we didn’t have RV’s between all of us.  However, I could see that this campground could get crowded during peak times and might be awkward to go between campsites if you’re family camping.
We stayed in the Luxury Cabinand it was well-appointed.  Made by the Amish, the cabins can easily sleep 6 people; the bathrooms were very clean and the kitchens well-stocked (except for a few worn out utensils).  Porches were on the front of the cabins, making it a nice shady place to hang out.  Each site comes with a fire pit; however the cabins do not have grills.
The amenities here are nice – there is a pool, games, a good sized playground, moonbounces and volleyball court.  They have daily hay rides plus an ice cream shop and camp store.
The campground is just 25+ minutes from Cape Henlopen State Park and the town of Lewes.,
