Draper Drive Park

The Equipment
All of the equipment appears to be new and in excellent condition.  The swing set boasts a special needs, bucket and four regular swings.  The mostly fenced playground has a main structure fitted with a gear box, three small climbing walls, two toddler slides and two big slides.  For older kiddos, there are five non-conventional types of climbing equipment including bars, a rope style course and more.  My kiddo and I really liked the variety of spinners on hand including an orbital one, flat seat, bucket seat and standing version.  After getting dizzy, we took a water break at the benches.  Don’t forget the soccer ball to play an impromptu game on the field!
The Scene
On a hot summer day, my daughter and I had the entire playground to ourselves.  There is a good sized parking lot and a nice trail to walk or ride a bike.  A few guys were playing at one of the soccer pitches.  I liked that the equipment was new and that most of the ground was covered by a rubber surface.  The main area also had canopies, which were great in providing shade coverage.  Note that the part of the playground that sits in mulch are where the spinners, swings and jungle gym are present.  Beat the heat and get some frozen custard from Freddy’s located nearby.
