Harding Park

The Equipment
My kiddo was elated to find this park because there is a dinosaur bouncer.  It’s dinosaur mania in our home so the two seated, purple T-Rex was a huge hit.  Little ones can sit in an airplane bouncer.  I would have liked if there was more than one baby and regular swing, but better to have one of each than none.  There are two levels of tunnels to crawl through and a variety of slides including a pair of swirly ones and side-by-side textured ones.  Various climbing equipment include stepping stumps, step climber, a grip wall and a mountain.  Round it out with a game of tic-tac-toe baseball or take advantage of the open space.
The Scene
The caveat to this park is the only source of shade is the picnic tables.  I appreciate that the majority of the small park is enclosed and that the mulch playground is set back from the road.  Nestled on the corner of Van Buren Street and Jefferson Street.  The negative to this park is the parking situation.  Parking is prohibited in townhome parking lot.  I suggest parking on Adams Street where there is also an unmarked gravel lot.  It’s a quarter of a block walk to the park from here.
Age Recommendation
Toddlers-age 8
Restrooms
