16th Street Playground

The Equipment
While I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit the playground, if you are in the neighborhood, it’s not a bad place to check out.  The playground is big and rests on a mulch surface.
The Scene
Located along a bustling street, the unsigned playground is fenced in and has a parking lot.  It is important to note that there are several harmless homeless persons both in the playground and the parking lot.  If you want to avoid this and the strong smell emanating from the trash cans, you can avoid the parking lot entrance and enter the playground from the main street.  There are also tennis courts and a football field adjacent to the playground.
Age Recommendation
While there is a separate “Toddlertown,” I would say ages 2 to 5 would like this playground.
Restrooms
None, but the playground is located next to a church.
