DCAC Wrestling
Promotion of wrestling for all agesThe DCAC will promote the sport of amateur wrestling on all age levels. The sport of wrestling in the United States is practiced in three separate but equally important disciplines: folkstyle (collegiate discipline), freestyle and Greco-Roman (the Olympic disciplines). The DCAC will promote the visibility of these three disciplines through the promotion of Clinics (one day teaching seminars), Camps (multiple date teaching and competition gatherings) and by hosting competition tournaments.
Many successful professionals have attributed their success to the work ethic and dedication that they learned while in the sport of amateur wrestling and the DCAC will facilitate the introduction of these successful people with the prospective future generation of wrestlers. The sport of amateur wrestling has many great success stories that have allowed people to overcome obstacles and shortcoming to become successful members of society. The DCAC would like to introduce successful wrestlers of present and past to those who can become amateur wrestles of the future.
