Trap Pond State Park
Did you know that Trap Pond State Park has the northernmost natural stand of baldcypress trees in the U.S.? Visitors can explore the beauty of this wetland forest by taking a hike on one of the many trails around the pond. Alternatively, you can rent a boat and see things from the water.
The campground is open year-round (on select sites) and they have RV and tent camping plus cabins and yurts for rent. It is one of the largest surviving fragments of what was once an extensive wetland in what is now southwestern Sussex County.
