Buck Branch Neighborhood Park
The Equipment
Set on a hill in the back of the park is the playground. Unfortunately, the area doesn’t have swings which would be a great addition. The playground is simple and a bit boring with a bulldozer that kids can slide down and a teeter totter. The main structure features a pair of slides, tic tac toe board, and a jungle gym.
The Scene
This park has a parking lot, small playground, lighted tennis courts, and basketball court. We didn’t follow the signs to the athletic field because it was on uneven terrain through the woods and up a hill. However, we did hear a lively game of baseball. To access the playground you have to climb a set of stairs going up a hill so lugging a stroller is not an option.

Best for ages 3 to 8.
