Cabin John Regional Park
Cabin John Regional Park has playgrounds, miniature train, snack bar, rest rooms, hiking trails, picnic areas, indoor/outdoor tennis courts, ice skating rink, nature center and lighted athletic fields.
The park maintains over 5 miles of recreational hiking and biking trails with several acces points. The Cabin John Stream Valley Trailis a 9-mile long trail, great for mountain biking and/or long-distance hiking.
The Cabin John Miniature Trainruns through the woods of this large regional park. Party room available for rent at the station. Train operates daily from June through August and on weekends only in May and September. Special spring break hours as well as Easter and Halloween train rides available. Tickets are $1.75 each and books of 10 are available for $15.75. Kids under 2 ride free with a paying adult. Call the train hotline at 301-765-8670.,
